Your site and your phone
I got a new phone. Where is my site?
Open KeepDr on the new phone and tap Restore purchases — it is on the first screen, on the subscription screen, and in Settings under Purchases. Use the same Apple Account you bought with. Your subscription, your site, your domain and your email forwarding all come back.
This step is necessary because KeepDr has no accounts and no passwords. Your phone is identified by a random value kept in its Keychain, and that value never leaves the device — not even to iCloud. A new phone is a new identity until you restore.
I deleted the app and reinstalled it on the same phone.
Your site should simply be there: the Keychain entry survives deleting the app. If the app opens on the welcome screen instead, tap Restore purchases and it will come back.
Restore says no active subscription was found.
That message means the Apple Account signed in on the phone is not the one that bought KeepDr Pro. Check Settings › your name › Media & Purchases on the device, then try again. If it is the right account, write to [email protected] with the domain you had and we will find it.
Getting set up
How long after I pay is my site live?
Usually under a minute. The app shows each step — registering the domain, creating the DNS zone, setting the records, switching on email forwarding — and tells you when it is done. You can leave the screen; it keeps going.
Domain registration occasionally takes a few minutes longer, and after about five the app says so rather than pretending to be stuck. You can close the app; the site appears on the home screen when it is ready.
The subscription screen says prices could not be loaded.
The app could not reach the App Store. Tap Try again on that screen. If it keeps failing: check the connection, make sure you are signed in to an Apple Account, and if you are on a VPN or a restricted network try switching it off — the App Store is often what such networks block. Force-quitting and reopening the app usually clears it.
You are never charged while that message is showing; the purchase button stays disabled until a real price has loaded.
I paid but the site was not published.
The app shows a “Payment received, site not published” screen with a Retry publishing button. Use it — you will not be charged twice. If it still fails, write to [email protected] and we will publish it by hand.
Your info@ email address
How does the info@ address work?
It is forwarding, not a mailbox. Mail sent to [email protected] is delivered straight to the personal inbox you nominated — usually Gmail — so there is nothing new to check. You reply from your own inbox as normal.
Because it forwards rather than stores, KeepDr never keeps a copy of your mail.
It says "waiting for verification".
Forwarding cannot start until the owner of the destination inbox confirms it. A verification email is sent to the address you gave; open it and tap the link once, and the status changes to “Forwarding active” within a minute.
Check your spam folder — that message lands there more often than it should. If it is nowhere, open the EMAIL row on the home screen and tap Resend verification email, or Change forwarding address to send it somewhere else.
Until it is verified, do not hand the info@ address out: mail to it will not reach you.
Changing your page
How do I change my photo, hours or details?
Tap your photo at the top of the home screen to replace or remove it — that saves immediately. For everything else use Edit site (name, specialty, opening hours, services, contact details) and tap Save.
How do I change the theme?
Home screen › Change theme. Pick a theme and an accent colour, preview it, then tap Save.
I saved a change but the site still shows the old version.
Published pages are cached for up to five minutes so they load fast. Wait a moment and reload, or open the page in a private tab to see the new version immediately. If it is still wrong after ten minutes, write to [email protected].
Subscription, domain and data
How do I cancel?
Through Apple — we cannot cancel it for you. Tap Manage subscription on the home screen or in Settings, or go to apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You keep your site until the end of the period you have paid for.
Refunds are Apple’s decision, not ours; request one through Apple.
What happens to my domain if I stop paying?
We stop renewing it and take the page down. We never resell it or point it at anyone else, but we do stop paying for it, so at the end of the year already paid for the registration lapses and the name returns to the registry. If you want to keep it, write to [email protected] before then and we will transfer the domain to a registrar account of your own — a person does this, there is no button in the app. The full policy is in the Terms.
How do I delete my data?
Settings › Delete my data, or write to [email protected]. Your site goes offline at once and your data is erased. This does not release the domain, which is held in our registrar account — so if you want to keep the name, ask us to transfer it to you before you delete. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what is deleted and what is kept.
Something else, or a page that should not be online.
Write to [email protected] for anything not answered here. To report a KeepDr page that impersonates someone or breaks the law, use keepdr.com/report — you do not need the app or an account.
